Read:- (1) G.O.(R) No. 291/2012/LSGD dated 25-01-2012. (2) G.O.(R) No. 3083/2012/LSGD dated 07-11-2012. (3) Letter No. 3952/EGS.A/13/REGS dated 09-04-2013 from Mission Director, Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme. ORDER Detailed instructions have been issued for undertaking construction of Bharath Nirman Rajiv Gandhi Seva Kendra (BNRGSK) under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme as per the Government Order read as 1st paper. It is stipulated in the Government Order, read as second paper, the BNREGSK of the Block Panchayaths should be constructed directly by the Secretary of Grama Panchayath, where the Block Panchayath is situated. The Mission Director, Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme in his letter read as 1st paper had informed that the Grama Panchayath Secretaries are not taking interest in constructing BNRGSK of block Panchayaths. Also, there are cases, where the present structure of the building of Grama Panchayaths/Block Panchayaths fit for Construction of further storey but can afford only light root. Government have examined the matter in detail and are pleased to issue modified orders as below. (i) The Block Programme Officer should be entrusted as the implementing officer for the construction of BNRGSK for Block Panchayaths. (ii) The construction of BNRGSK with metal angler/Tubular truss and pvc light roof over the existing building should be considered subject to the fitness Certificate obtained from the Competent LSGD Engineer.
