An Act to make provision for advancing the public health of the State of Travancore-Cochin.
Preamble.-
Whereas it is expedient to make provision for advancing the public health of the State of Travancore-Cochin;
Be it enacted in the Sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
CHAPTER I Preliminary
1. Short title, extent and commencement.-
(1) This Act may be called The Travancore Cochin Public Health Act, 1955.
(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Kerala, excluding the Malabar District.
(3) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification in the Gazette appoint.
2. Definitions.-
