സംഗ്രഹം- തദ്ദേശസ്വയംഭരണ വകുപ്പ്-കേരള അഗ്രോ ഇൻഡസ്ട്രീസ് കോർപ്പറേഷ(കെയ്തകോ)ന് മരാമത്ത് പ്രവൃത്തികൾ നടത്തുന്നതിനുള്ള അക്രഡിറ്റഡ് ഏജൻസിയായി നിശ്ചയിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുള്ള തീരു മാനം - റദ്ദചെയ്ത് ഉത്തരവ് പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കുന്നു. പരാമർശം:- (1) 15-1-2000-ലെ ജി.ഒ.(പി) നമ്പർ 25/00/തസ്വഭവ (2) 16-12-09-ലെ വികേന്ദ്രീകൃതാസൂത്രണ സംസ്ഥാനതല കോ-ഓർഡിനേഷൻ കമ്മിറ്റി തീരുമാനം നം. 2.3(2)

ഉത്തരവ്

പരാമർശം (1) പ്രകാരം കേരള അഗ്രോ ഇൻഡസ്ട്രീസ് കോർപ്പറേഷനെ (കെയ്തകോ) തദ്ദേശസ്വയംഭ രണ വകുപ്പിന് കീഴിലെ പൊതുമരാമത്ത് പ്രവൃത്തികൾ നടത്തുന്നതിനുള്ള അംഗീകൃത ഏജൻസിയായി നിശ്ചയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

മരാമത്ത് പ്രവൃത്തികൾ നടപ്പാക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള വൈദഗ്ദ്ധ്യം ഈ സ്ഥാപനത്തിന് ഇല്ല എന്നുള്ള വിവരം സർക്കാരിന്റെ ശ്രദ്ധയിൽപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുള്ളതിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ സംസ്ഥാനതലകോ-ഓർഡിനേഷൻ സമിതി യിൽ ഈ വിഷയം ചർച്ച ചെയ്ത് സൂചന (2)-ലെ തീരുമാനത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ, കേരള അഗ്രോ ഇൻഡസ്ട്രീസ് കോർപ്പറേഷനെ (കെയ്തകോ) തദ്ദേശസ്വയംഭരണവകുപ്പിന് കീഴിലെ പൊതുമരാമത്ത് പ്രവൃ ത്തികൾ നടത്തുന്നതിനുള്ള അംഗീകൃത ഏജൻസിയായി നിശ്ചയിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുള്ള സൂചന(1) ഉത്തരവ് റദ്ദചെയ്തുകൊണ്ട് ഇതിനാൽ ഉത്തരവാകുന്നു.

INTRODUCTION OF BACKUP POLICY TO E-GOVERNANCE APPLICATION BENGIMPLEMENTED BY GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENTS/ORGANISATIONS

Abstract:- Information Technology Department - Introduction of Back Up Policy to e-Governance application being implemented by Government Departments/Organisations-Orders issued.

ORDER

Government Departments and Organisations are in the process of implementing e-Governance applications and creating electronic records. There is a chance for loss of electronic records data and in the event of an equipment failure or physical and cyber disaster. A Backup Policy has become important to ensure that the electronic records (application and databases) are not lost due to equipment failure or physical and cyber disaster. The policy would help the Government Departments/Organisations to take action to back up electronic records to minimize the risk of such loss.

In the circumstances Government are pleased to approve the Back Up Policy annexed to this Government Order, and the Policy is made applicable to all e-Governance applications being implemented by Government Departments/Organizations with immediate effect.

e-Governance Data Centre Government of Kerala Backup Policy

1. Overview

This policy defines the backup policy for computers co-located in the e-Governance Data Centre, Govt. of Kerala. These systems are typically servers with internal hard disks/disk arrays or SAN/NAS based storages Servers expected to be backed up include database servers, appl ication servers, web servers, mail servers etc.

2. Purpose

This policy is designed to protect data in the Computers to be sure it is not lost and can be recovered in the event of an equipment failure, intentional destruction of data, or disaster in the data centre, 3. Definitions (i) Backup - The saving of files onto magnetic tape or other offline mass storage media for the purpose of preventing loss of data in the event of equipment failure or destruction.
