സാമൂഹ്യനീതി വകുപ്പ് മുഖാന്തിരം നടപ്പിലാക്കി വരുന്ന അഗതി (വിധവ) പെൻഷൻ പ്രായപരിധി പരിഗണിക്കാതെ പുനർ വിവാഹം വരെ അനുവദിക്കുന്നതിനും വാർദ്ധക്യകാല പെൻഷനും വിധവാ പെൻഷനും എ.പി.എൽ./ബി.പി.എൽ. വ്യത്യാസമില്ലാതെ പരമാവധി മൂന്ന് ലക്ഷം രൂപ വരെ വാർഷിക വരുമാനമുള്ളവർക്ക് നൽകുന്നതിനും അനുമതി നൽകി ഉത്തരവ് പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കുന്നു.

ORDER Government consider it necessary that an Activity Mapping of the Panchayat Department has to be carried out in a time bound manner and accordingly Governmentare pleased to Constitute a committee with the following members for Activity Mapping of the Panchayat Department:- Principal Secretary, Local Self Government Department Secretary, Local Self Government Department, Shri. C.P. John, Member, State Planning Board, Thiruvananthapuram, The Director of Panchayats, Thiruvanan thapuram, The State Performance Audit Officer, Local Self Government Department, Thiruvananthapuram.
The above Committeeshall prepare and submit the Activity Map within a period of three months. Abstract:- Local Self Government Department - Installation of signposts showing destination and road directions/safety signals at appropriate places in national highways and other roads of the state-orders issued.
ORDER
The Hon’ble Governor of Kerala has brought to the notice of the Government that in our National High Ways and other roads in cities and towns, there are not adequate display of road or destination signages. The Hon’ble Governor has noticed that this caused much difficulty to the people especially tourists from abroad and other states of India. He has instructed to take appropriate action in this regard.
The Government have examined the matter in detail and decided to take immediate steps to rectify the inadequacy pointed out by the Hon’ble Governor. In the circumstances, all the Local Self Government Institutions in the in the state are directed to take immediate steps to installsignposts showing destination and directions/safety signals at appropriate places by using their own funds.
