ORDER As per G.O. read as first paper above Biodiversity Management Committee has been constituted in five pilot Village Panchayats vizVithura (Thiruvananthapuram), Kumarakam (Kottayam), Malampuzha (Palakkad), Chirakkal (Kannur) and Neeleswaram (Kasaragod) under the provisions of National Biological Diversity Act 2002. In the letter read as second paper above the Chairman, Kerala State Biodiversity Board has requested to constitute Biodiversity Management Committee in all Village Panchayats, Municipalities and Corporations in order to start the preparation of the People's Biodiversity Register for their respective jurisdictions.
